Faruk Begolli was the most famous Kosovo Albanian actor and director in Yugoslavia (along with Bekim Fehmiu). He attended high school in Pristina and completed the academy of film in Belgrade (1966). Begolli played in more than 60 films, starting with Veljko Bulajic's Pogled u zenicu Sunca (1966). He cooperated with director Purisa Dordevic in his films Podne (Noon), Jutro (The Morning), and San (The Dream), and his notable roles include Bitka na Neretvi, Cuvar plaze u zimskom periodu and Dervis i Smrt (The Dervish and Death). In the late 1980s, Begolli returned from Belgrade to Kosovo, where he worked at the University of Pristina as a professor at the Faculty of Drama. His last lead role was in Ekrem Kryeziu's Dashuria e Bjeshkeve te Nemuna (Love in the Damned Mountain), and his last piece was Etjet e Kosoves (Kosovo: Desperate Search), where he was also a co-scenarist. Gabor Rohonyi was born in Pécs, Hungary in 1966 and started to film at the age of 13. He graduated from the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest in 1992. From 1993 he directed several travel documentaries mostly about India and South East Asia, television programs and series. He directed music videos for the Hungarian pop and rock elite. His short film Buvesz (The Magician) came out in 1997. After that he started directing commercials, and he still does. Rita was born in Pécs in 1972. After years in drama schools and English studies, Rita got her first leading role in a play at 18. She was one of the founder of "New Renaissance Theater" and the company was invited to England with two plays in which she played leading roles in English. She got her first movie role at 33. David Albahari was born on 15 March 1948 in Pec, Serbia, Yugoslavia. He was a writer and assistant director, known for Haava nagila (1973), Kisa (1972) and Leeches (2019). He died on 30 July 2023 in Belgrade, Serbia.- Albina Kelmendi is a Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter. She studied clarinet and piano at the Halit Kasapolli music school in her hometown and started performing together with her family under the name Family Band. She rose to fame after placing as the runner-up on the fourth series of The Voice of Albania in 2014. Kelmendi and her family represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Duje".

Born in Hungary in 1932 he moved to Rome in 1938. At the age of 6 he studied violin and at 8 piano and composition. In his teens he was a professional Jazz Sax player.
In 1959 he graduated in Composition with Goffredo Petrassi at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome. The following year he studied in Paris with Max Deutsch. Back in Italy he attended the post-graduate courses taught by Goffredo Petrassi at the Santa Cecilia Academy of Music.
In 1961 he was awarded the first prize of the International Competition of the SIMC - the first of many other important international recognitions.
In 1971 he earned his Master Degree in Ethnomusicology at the University of California in Los Angeles, followed up with a research in the Himalaya regions on the music of the Tibetan Buddhism.
Member Performer of the Improvisation Group of Nuova Consonanza and Musica Elettronica Viva (MEV) together with Frederick Rzewski and Alvin Curran among others.
He succeeded Alain Danielou as Chair of the International Institute for Comparative Music Studies of Berlin, staying in charge until 1983, taking over the "Scuola Interculturale di Musica" in Venice.
